Special Pictures
My Mom has been going through her picture's trying to find some of me as a baby as all the ones My Grandma had seem to have disappeared. These are very special picture's that represent the time my Mom lived away from me in the years I remained with my grandma...
I'll share more later as the mood strikes. I will get copies made to make a scrapbook with these lovely photo's that I'm ever so happy to have.

How precious those photos must be to you. I only have a couple of photos of me as a baby - they were taken at my christening, and J has none of himself. What a contrast with all the photos we have of our girls.
ReplyDeleteHeather (Heb - Her nickname that stuck because I couldn't say Heather and called her Hebber) and I see each other about once every 5 to 10 years when I go back to New York for our High School Reunions. And we have reconnected on Facebook.

ReplyDeleteBeing a 5 th child born in the 50's my Mom had exactly 1 photo of me and that was as a baby around 6 mo old...

ReplyDeleteFor Christmas 2010 my sister made me an album of photos from my childhood. It was hands-down the best gift I got. It made me so deliriously happy looking through them and reminiscing. I know it took a lot of time to sort the photos, scan, and print them. It is an amazing labor of love on her part. And I absolutely love it.
What wonderful memories Becky! Funny how those nicknames can evolve from littlies trying to pronounce names. My younger girl is still called 'Demphy" as her older sister couldn't pronounce 'Jennifer', but said 'Demphiner' which became Demphy! I look forward to seeing more of your old photos! :-)
