Hurricane Irene is nearing landfall and a dear friend thats never experienced a hurricane is in it's direct path. I'm hoping, praying and wishing for her and her families safety. If it was us we would have "bugged out" yesterday.
And a few more picture's that my Mom has dug out to share with me and me in turn with you all...

I'm praying for everyone who is in the path of Irene...such a scary thing.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love looking at old pics? Always brings back memories!
Lovely photos Becky! I particularly love the dresses you are wearing. My nanna used to make dresses like that for all my cousins and I. I hope your friends in the path of Irene stay safe...we have cyclones here and just like hurricanes, they can be very unpredictable.
ReplyDeleteprayers for friends in the path of Irene, and I love the other pics - they remind me of many wonderful times sitting with my grandmother and going through her picture box and telling me about the pics.
ReplyDeleteOh I haven't heard(or read) crick in so long!~
ReplyDeleteLove 1967~seems to have been a good year for you too. Adorable dresses and love photos from the past! Thanks for sharing.
