8/4/11 - our burnt up garden |
Here it is another year since I have written on this blog. Since I found You Tube and started doing videos over there this blog has become ...
Oh, beautiful!!! i felt cooler just watching it!
ReplyDeleteWow! That was heavy rain! Somehow rain is always more effective for the garden than hosing or 'bucketing'. It's been very dry here too but the temperatures have been mild but I guess it won't be long till everything in the garden 'gets baked'.We're still on water restrictions despite the flooding earlier this year.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're getting some rain. We really need a good rain. Our grass is dieing and I refuse to water it.
ReplyDeleteOh listen to that beautiful sound. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat is SOME rain! YAY Mother Nature!
ReplyDeleteNow that looks like one good downpour. I can't believe how gorgeous and green it is there in summer.
ReplyDeleteWe've had the opposite weather out west for much of the past Spring and Summer... so much rain! I didn't get to garden this year (not because of the rain) but it's my plan to make next year the Year of the Yard.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my blog yesterday!! I see you like to crochet. I just posted a really simple crochet project if you'd like to check it out as well. If you don't make it over today and it gets buried under more posts, look in the side bar for Crafts and Other Downloadables.
