I went to the Dollar Tree for paper goods and saw these two birthday cards for my youngest nephews that have recently had birthdays. We couldn't afford the gas to attend the parties so I am making them each a little something and will mail it up belatedly.
I have also begun working on my brother, Jack's baby pictures that I have and will mail him the album as soon as it is completed. I still have 2 more albums to create for 2 of my sister's and then they will all have their own baby pictures in albums to show their own families.
Today is a catch up around the house day with laundry being done and a bit of house work. I also have Homemade Chicken Noodle soup in the works using the left over carcass of the bird I baked earlier in the week. I guess I should get off this computer and get to work. I'll check in a bit later.

Those cards look great Becky and I guess the 'Dollar tree' is a shop that sells items a lot cheaper than other stores? I joined a challenge on a forum where I spend no money on selected items for the month of August...I chose yarns, fabrics and I also said I would check my 'gift stash' before I go out and buy a gift. But then there were cards...then I wondered if I could use my scrapbooking 'stuff'(tools and card) to make cards??? Food for thought.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful gift for your siblings. I wish I had half your creative energy!
