Here it is another year since I have written on this blog. Since I found You Tube and started doing videos over there this blog has become ...
I've been wanting to try Bamboo Knitting needles for a while now but just haven't bought them. Maybe now I won't have to :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!!!

How generous of you Becky! I can imagine that at 16 inches long, you definitely could knit an afghan on them...that's long! lol
ReplyDeleteOh, i love Bamboo knitting needles, but haven't yet used any that large. Thanks for the chance to try some.
ReplyDeleteI've been searching for any thick knitting needles or crochet hooks to upcycle old t-shirts into rugs or mats. These would be great, especially at 16 inches long! I haven't tried bamboo needles yet.
ReplyDeleteCheers,

I have often wondered why the aluminum needles are obsolete....any ideas? I love the bamboo ones and am a good customer as I break them often....usually sitting on them. Dumb me! Would love a pair this big.

Saw first leaves falling this a.m. so must begin knitting for the winter. :)
I only have a few second hand needles (one glued together with super glue!) as I am still fairly new to knitting. I already love the flow of it, so relaxing and rhythmic. Bamboo has such a nice feel that I am sure these would be the best.
ReplyDeleteHow are you liking your pair?
I'm slowly buying all the sizes in Bamboo as I LOVE IT so much. I opened my set of these size 17's and am making a neck wrap for myself. I have simply cast on 40 stitches and am just doing a repeat of knit on all 40 stitches in all rounds. I will post a picture when it's completed. I have to be so careful about my throat and ear being covered during the coldest part of the year as I will get an ear infection so easily.
ReplyDeleteShould have said ROWS NOT rounds!
