I like this spot for our main dwelling as it's centered on this open area and I could have a nice garden to the right just behind my car. The cabin site is behind the tree shadow you see in the foreground of this picture. This way guests can have some privacy from our dwelling but easily walk over if they needed to. Our main windows would face the opposite direction and toward the woods which are to the right in this picture.
