A Walk on the Wild Side
We spied this gator from the board walk at the start of the mile and a half long trail. We figure he/she was probably about 10 to 12 feet.
Yes! I am a freak about fungi!
When Greg (our son) was about 3 or 4 he'd see the moon like this and he'd say, "Look Daddy... it's the MOOOOOONNNNNN".
Is this what they call a "vine hug"?
Scott narrowly missed stepping right on this snake... I saw it and gasped and he stepped back quick... we just took pictures and gave it a wide berth. On our return trip it had slithered off - thankfully.
By the time we got back to the car it was quite dark.
