The shift in my work week is really playing havoc with my time perception.. it's day 3 of my work week and it's Tuesday. I will be glad when the Holiday's are over and we go back to Monday through Friday. I think I've caught a virus and would much rather crawl back in bed today; just feeling rotten. Sometimes I wish I could feel less obligated and just call out from work.
Last night I made a Sweet Potato Lasagna and it was pretty good. We liked it ok but it's a lot of work so I probably won't be making it often. I got the recipe out of Wednesday Night is Vegetarian
I'll check in later and perhaps post something more fun and less whiny.

ReplyDeleteMy son was home with a bug of some kind last week, but so far no one else has come down with it. He went back to school yesterday feeling much better.
I just posted something on my blog yesterday about making elderberry syrup and how it helps with colds and flu bugs. Maybe if you feel up to it later, give it a read and see if it might help.

Becky, sorry your not feeling well..may I suggest you purchase some "Airbourne" and use for a few days of Vitamin boost...This is what DH & I use at the onset of colds or flu..and it really helps us....

I actually had some Airbourne in the medicine cabinet and just took one. After work I came home ate lunch and then slept couple hours. I may have to be in at 4 tomorrow morning so I thought it best to sleep when I could. I just pulled dinner from the oven; homemade chicken and vegetable pie and am waiting on my fellas to get home.
