Carpet removal! Scott went out to wash his car and a wild hare took hold of me and I decided to get a start on ripping up the carpet that was in the dining area that we are re-purposing as an office. The dining room furniture is being moved into what used to be our den. And our front room that now contains our computers and such will become our "Living room" where guests can sit and talk with us. We don't have a TV and don't miss it a bit. Greg has his TV in his room and we hear it enough. We watch programs on my computer.

ReplyDeleteI think uncovering wood floors like that is amazing, just amazing. But, I love the warm and classic look of wood floor. I helped my mother with a carpet removal project when I was in high school. A lot of work, but oh is it worth it. I hope yours goes well. We've actually been talking about doing a little of it at our house in the coming months. I can't understand why on earth would anyone put carpet into a dining room and I'm ditching it at the first reasonable opportunity.
