My Flowering Almond is at it's peak and will soon fade to brown just as it's leaves appear. I just had to share a couple more photos of it. I tried to get a close up so you can see that it's covered in little pink floral balls - I think it looks like cotton candy.

It does look like cotton candy! How pretty! Our orange tree is blossoming right now, and I just love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
Gorgeous blossoms! How many years does it take for almonds to start producing? I have been thinking of putting one in.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Our citrus trees, in Australia, are all growing fruit at the moment.

it is indeed lovely! We have lots of flowering plum trees on the footpaths around our neighbourhood - during early spring they are breathtaking, but the rest of the year they are so quiet and rather dull. Enjoy the prettiness!
ReplyDeleteWOW...SO Pretty, shame it's only ornamental though. Enjoy it while it lasts...Does it also have a beautiful scent?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous and so pink! There is a lack of pink in my boy dominated household. Do you havest almonds from the tree?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous Becky. We're in Autumn now and although nowhere near cool yet, I always prefer Spring and the flowers in bloom. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
