I've been busy creating some items and thought that I would share them here.
First is this recycled oxygenator container...
I covered the container with torn pieces of paper napkins (the butterfly print) and Modge Podge. Between the last 2 coats of the Modge Podge I sprinkled some super fine glitter. Then I added lace and trim to finish it out. I am filling this with punched out paper butterflies for a friend. I really like how this turned out.
Next I created these cards from paper bags...
I added the ribbon to tie them closed so a gift card would not fall out if it was added to the pocket. These are to be swapped with a local crafting group that I just found. I'm hoping to make some new crafty friends. They meet at the Library once a month.
I also created a pretty card for a challenge on You Tube. I really like how it turned out and want to make some more in the future. I mailed it to it's recipient on my way home from work today.
I've also started on a vertical paper bag mini-album and it's turning out quite nice if I do say so myself. I'll post some pictures when it is completed. Sorry I've been away from my Blog. We had a celebration to attend as my nephew, Drake finished High School. I got to see my family and it was so nice to have most of the nieces and nephews in attendance. Here is a photo of our "Motley Crew"...
