On My Mind - A New Friendship

This is a Friday photo feature that anyone with a blog can join. To take part, post a photo on your own blog, write a short caption explaining it, and link it back to Down To Earth from your blog by saying you're part of "On my mind". Please write a new post, don't link to an older one. When you've done that, go back to Down to Earth and add a comment below her On My Mind Post, with a link to your blog.

Tracy's Rum Apple Butter with Raisins
Thanks to Down to Earth I've met a wonderful gal here in South Carolina. Hopefully we will continue to build a wonderful friendship. We swapped canned items and chatted for an hour and a half.  I'm willing to treat for lunch next time since Tracy was so sweet to buy this time. Perhaps we will make it somewhere closer to her home... I wonder if she'd be up for Shealy's BBQ?

I can hardly wait for breakfast... going to try some of her yummy apple butter on my toast.

PS... I know I'm early posting this but wanted to link it to Rhonda's Blog for this weekly feature since it was her doing that made Tracy and I meet.

  1. Mmmm, that apple and raisin butter would be yummy on cold ham or hot pork over Christmas.

  6. That's so cool that you have the blessing of a new friendship (and yummy apple butter) via the internet. That's such a neat thing :) :) Enjoy the apple butter. I love apple butter on top of real butter on top of a real biscuit :) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
