After Nap Husband Search....

I laid down for a nap and when I got up it was all quiet in the house so I went in search of Scott - car's were all in the driveway.... looked out the kitchen window; nope not in the back yard... took a walk out the side door and FOUND HIM!
He was putting the carburetor back together on this riding lawnmower that a friend gave us awhile ago as she couldn't get it repaired and had bought another lawn tractor and just wanted this one out of the way. So he has been trying his hardest to get it running once again.
He got it all put back together and got it started...
And even drove it around the yard a bit but it's still not running like he wants it to; so he is now watching video's of lawn mower repair on You Tube to see if he can gain a bit of wisdom there.

The wind is picking up and making the leaves dance out my front window so perhaps we will get some rain tonight. I hope so as it will put a delay on the fireworks for another night. I'm certain that all the kids will be shooting fireworks late into the evening all weekend long; the neighborhood will have a sulfur haze about it... yuck!

And I have to share some funny picture's of Mr Tesla. First here he is giving me "the evil eye"...
I don't believe he wanted to be bothered while he was napping...
And here he is on top of the food container; he has learned that he can make the top make a popping noise by sitting on top of it and shifting his weight. If he does it enough one of us will give him a little snack.... wait... I think he has US trained!

  1. Cats are sneaky like that, they have you hopping about tending to their needs and they 'smile' the whole time. Mine is the best alarm clock - she climbs onto the bedhead and jumps right down onto my stomach if the 'meow' alarm doesn't work. Nothing like a bursting bladder to make one jump out of bed quickly and while I'm up she makes sure I 'fetch' her breakfast!

  3. It's great that Scott is able to repair things. Now if he can only tweak it to get it to run like he wants. :)

Cute picture of the cat sitting on the can.

  4. Hi Becky,

I hope that your hubby can get that riding mower fixed. I've learned a lot from youTube tutorials. So I'm sure he'll be able to find what he needs there :) :)

Have a Happy 4th of July weekend. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
