Amazing Moon and Goodbye Uncle Jesse

Yesterday morning at 3 AM Uncle Jesse went to see his beloved wife once more. He died peacefully in his sleep. I find comfort in his passing as he was so tired, weary and sick when we saw him last Saturday. He was ready to leave this World. Rest in Peace dear Uncle.

    It was a very lovely full moon, wasn't it?! I'm always sorry to hear of deaths in the family, but as you note, sometimes it can be comforting, too, when they are ready to go home.

      Yes - it was an Oriole. An absolutely stunning bird. The cardinals come a LOT. In the mornings there will sometimes be 6 to 12 red cardinals out in the trees... they look like bright red ornaments.
