Last of February

I spent some time coloring images with my Prismacolor pencils and then turned them into cards. I'm sorry I can't get the photos turned through blogger. I really love how these all turned out. On some of the images I used Glossy Accents to accentuate areas of the images.

I am enjoying hunting for bargains at the thrift stores. I have even found brand new clothes with the original store tags attached for just$1.

In our bought of early Spring"ness" the tulip tree at our house in Cayce was in glorious bloom. I was so glad I took these pictures because that same weekend we got SNOW! And now everything is brown from the cold.

Our son, Greg right after a trip to see his Barber... he looked so handsome I had to get a couple photos.  He had gotten them to trim his beard neat too.

We are making progress on the kitchen at the house. Scott is doing such a wonderful job turning the old wall oven cabinet into a wall unit that will hold a microwave and bookshelves as well as cabinets with doors on the bottom.

And the last big project to share from February was a mixed media art journal cover and base pages made out of a bread m ix box. I really love home this turned out.

And this is the first page that I created to put inside the new art journal.

  1. Coloring can be so relaxing! Love the turquoise color of the clothes/deals you got.
Beards look so much better trimmed. He's looking good.
Enjoy the spring and all the work you guys are getting done. :)

  2. Absolutely love the colouring. The metallic highlights are wonderful. Great photo of your boy - he looks a happy, easy going type.

Thanks for stopping by and for taking the time to comment on my post(s).
