My projects to complete this weekend were these little Dominoes that I had picked up at a Thrift store a little while ago. I decorated them up with laces, and beads and I think they turned out really pretty. On Monday I will be mailing them to Australia to be entered into a challenge with other Crafters. Part of the prizes are some GORGEOUS hand crocheted laces and other crafting goodness.

Next up is to create a project where I will be recycling something and creating all the embellishments myself. I all ready started making some lace and trim bits; trying to decided how to make my own beads... may have to just use bought beads but create a design with them myself. HMMMM.... THINK THINK THINK.
Off to bed now as I have to work in the morning.
You are so creative. These recycled dominoes are really pretty.

I've made paper beads before, kind of like these: http://diyfashion.about.com/od/diyjewelrymaking/ss/Paper_Beads.htm Maybe that would work for your next endeavor. You're so tremendously crafty! Both dominoes have undergone quite the transformation. I particularly like the vintage looking one.
