RIP Dear Nicholas

Nicholas cried out for us this morning and I went and gathered him into  my arms and held him and then he cried again and I went and woke Greg up and told him it was Nick's time and that he wanted to say good bye. We went out on the front porch and I laid him down and we all petted him and told him how much we loved him and that we'd be OK and he could go in Peace. Within 30 minutes he was gone. We believe he knew it was his time. We have heavy hearts but know that he is in a better place. We buried him under the cedar tree in the front yard - his favorite place to be. We erected some stones to mark his grave.

  5. Oh Becky ~ I'm sorry for this loss for your family. Our pets become part of us. He is in a better place for sure, romping with others and will be waiting for you on the rainbow bridge.

  7. I'm sure sorry to hear about your kitty! They sure are a part of the family and when they go it is never easy. I'm glad Nicholas went out on his own terms and with all of you showering him with love. We should all be so lucky.
