I have had this skirt cut out for WEEKS and now it sits waiting for me to complete it and it's been joined by fabric for a blouse to match it... go figure... yet another project. I have got to work hard on that character flaw... too many projects waiting to be finished. UGH! But new ones are so very hard to resist.

Hello to all those that have followed this blog for some time. I have not posted in quite awhile so thought I would pop over and write some...
I have that problem too.... Good luck wrapping up the loose ends of your projects!
ReplyDeleteBecky, love the skirt pattern...hugs, for energy to get it completed:)
ReplyDeleteI've given up on ever finishing all my projects. Right now I'll settle for just making a dent in them.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky. I have a couple of unfinished projects but I usually get back to them within a couple of months. I hope your skirt and blouse turn out as you hope.
ReplyDeleteHello again Becky. Unfinished projects? Tell me about it! Story of my life. I'm sure you'll get there.

Oh, I love having craft projects to work on..and I always have MORE than I could possibly work on at one time with my two hands ;) :) A character flaw? Well, that's a good one to have...compared to others you could have ;) :) :) So enjoy your skirt and blouse project. Please post a photo of the clothes when they're finished :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
ReplyDeleteHi Becky. I hear you on this front. I traced and cut a pattern for my sons coat last winter and wouldn't you know it he grew like a weed over summer and now I have to start over ... If I ever get my machine out of the cupboard that is. :)

Lol, join the UFO (UnFinished Objects) club! There's quite a few of us in it.
ReplyDeleteUFO club...that is awesome.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky,
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about projects - they are so much more interesting to start than complete! Thanks for your encouragement with my chook cage - I managed to get a few more bits of framing screwed in last night, yay! Do you find deadlines help in getting projects completed? My deadline is September, when I want to have chooks in it...but my current deadline is that I want all the framing finished before I go back to study in a couple of weeks. Probably a little on the optimistic side, grin! Amy
The worst part about this procrastination is the house has "ate" the thread and the zipper that I bought to sew the skirt together so a cleaning session is in order before i can finish sewing. Oh well - that'll make the hubby happy.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky that is a nice pattern I have not had time to use my sewing machine only once this year. I made a bathroom shower curtain. Oh I miss sewing but going into haying soon maybe this winter. B curtain
