Results of steps 6 and 7

I'll only be home for the first hour and a half of this Mystery Retreat tomorrow so I won't get this completed until Sunday afternoon. BUMMER! It's promising to be quite lovely when finished.

Steps 3,4 and 5

Cut the rectangles and squares and then mark the diagonal on the white squares.

Goofy Dog Shot!

I just let Amelia in and doesn't she look happy to be in A/C!

After Clue#2

I now have 24 2/1/2 by 5" "white" rectangles cut from 12 of the 5" "white" squares.

Doing a Mystery QUilt

I'm working my way thru a Mystery. Part one was cutting the "white" 5" squares. I took a picture of all the fabrics I'll be sewing today and tomorrow to complete this project. The lady bug fabric is for the backing and the green will be the biding. The 5" print fabrics will be part of the top and since this is a true mystery I have no clue what it will look like when finished. It's giving me something to do while Scott sleeps.

Back to work tomorrow!~

Today is my last day home with Scott. He is feeling so much better; he was even able to sleep in the bed last night. He is healing well and the pain is letting up in his stomach. Now my worry will be that he tries to do too much!
