We took Amelia with us today to the River-walk and she loved every minute of it. We saw a very handsome toad sitting in his doorway looking quite pleased that we stopped and took his picture.
A little ways down the path we rescued a snake from being killed by someone that wanted it dead. It was on the offensive but still off the path enough that if left alone it would return to the woods. We stayed long enough to take some pictures and to give the snake a chance to live. Other's came along but they were like us and were just fascinated by the snake as well. Goes back to - WE are in their house - we should act like good house guests.
