Here it is the day before Mother's Day and I can't help thinking about the woman that raised me to the age of 18. She was an "all natural" gal - no make-up; no bra (unless we were headed to church or the Great American); loved working in soil; had a Master's GREEN THUMB and loved everyone. She loved to learn and when my High School Biology teacher ( Doc Ryall) said we could do the sex education section as independent study she was right there learning with me that week or two. She had 9 children and didn't even know how her reproductive organs functioned until then and was completely amazed by it all. She was an amazing cook - her rolls were to die for and she made some awesome pies!
